We all wash our faces in the evening (we hope!) as part of our daily routine, but how we do that can have an effect not only on our skin health, but also our wellbeing. A couple of splashes of water or a quick swipe with a face wipe has little benefit to the skin or mind.
Using skincare in a ritualistic manner has numerous benefits and doesn’t have to take long! For example, by using our cleansing balm provides a moment of deep relaxation and a moment to breathe.
Skincare Ritual Guide
STEP 1 – DOUBLE CLEANSE WITH GENTLY NOURISHING CLEANSING BALM
(Do this every morning and once every evening)
Scoop a pearl-size amount morning and evening and apply to a dry face. Massage thoroughly for a minute or two to decongest your skin and boost circulation for a natural glow. Place a hot cloth over your face and inhale the wild lavender and grapefruit blend, allowing it to reset your senses. Repeat to double-cleanse.
STEP 2 – EXFOLIATE WITH GENTLY RESURFACING FACIAL EXFOLIANT
(Use twice weekly max)
Scoop a small amount into palm and add enough water to make a paste. Apply to the face in circular motions to exfoliate and hydrate before removing with a hot cloth. The exfoliating blend of creamy avocado, shea butter, apricot & hibiscus powder rich in alpha hydroxy acid will smooth and refine dull skin with a gentle facial massage.
STEP 3 – RELAX WITH CALM & SOOTHE FACE MASK
(Use twice weekly or add a dot onto a blemish and leave overnight)
Apply a thin layer over cleansed face, neck and decolletage. Leave for 10 to 15 minutes before removing with a hot cloth. It's fabulous as an emergency pick-me-up or you can leave on overnight for a deep replenishing mask and wake up to glowing, healthy clear skin.
STEP 4 – HYDRATE & MOISTURISE
AM: Warm a few drops of Vitamin-Rich Botanical Day Oil and press into damp, cleansed skin. This oil is nature's alternative to retinol and will restore radiance to dull and tired skin.
PM: Warm a few drops of Overnight Replenishing Oil between your hands and place over the face, pressing the oils into the skin to promote natural collagen production. Wake up to plump and glowing skin.
Warm a dot of Hydration Boost Moisturising Balm between the fingertips to warm before pressing into the skin. This can be layered with over the day or night oils if the skin is particularly dry or used alone.
Less is more with all of our products. It's better to use a little and go back to for more if you need to. They are concentrated so a little goes a long way!
