What makes your SPF 50 Mineral Sunscreen different from other sunscreens?

Our sunscreen is formulated specifically for sensitive skin, using non-nano zinc oxide for broad-spectrum protection without irritation. It's also packed with nourishing ingredients like raspberry seed oil and aloe vera, and is completely reef-safe.

 Is this sunscreen suitable for all skin types, including sensitive skin?

Yes! We formulated this sunscreen with sensitive skin in mind. It's free from harsh chemicals, fragrances, and potential irritants. it's suitable for anyone age 3yr+.

How do I apply the sunscreen for optimal protection?

Apply liberally as your last step in your skincare routine to clean, dry skin 15-20 minutes before sun exposure. Massage until absorbed. Reapply frequently to maintain protection, especially after swimming/perspiring/towelling. 

No sunscreen can provide 100% protection from UV radiation. Avoid prolonged sun exposure, even while using this product. Wear protective clothing, hats, and sunglasses for additional protection. For children 3+. Keep babies and young children out of direct sunlight. Reef safe. For external use only. Discontinue use if irritation occurs. Store out of sunlight. Keep jar dry

Can I wear this sunscreen under makeup?

What is the shelf life of this sunscreen?

Our sunscreen has a shelf life of 6 months after opening. Be sure to store it in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight.

Can I recycle the packaging?

Yes, the glass jar is recyclable. Our plastic disc liners are recyclable. Simply rinse them clean and place them in your recycling bin. We also offer an aluminium 100ml refill bottle.

Is this sunscreen cruelty-free and vegan?

Yes, like all our products, our SPF 50 Mineral Sunscreen is cruelty-free and vegan.

We don’t believe in 10-step skincare routines that can overload your skin. We like you to  be able to multi-task with the Husk & Seed products you already have, which also  means you are not spending out unnecessarily.

We make water-free skincare and don’t plan to bring out a toner. Our products won’t strip your skin, so you won’t need a toner to rebalance (more clever marketing by the corporations). We are 100% confident that you will love our products, but we do realise that it can be a transition from the routine you might have been used to for many years. So if you feel as if you do really want to use a toner, we recommend using a rosewater hydrosol.
