Because it does- calm and soothe.. I have very sensitive skin and it can feel such a relief to put it on. I wish it smelled lovely, to lull me to sleep but you can’t have everything!!
This is my third purchase of this balm , I think it might have changed since my previous one as the smell and colour seem different , saying that it still does what it’s meant to do calm and nourish the skin .

This came as a freebie with my order and was already a favourite.
I've never used it as a mask! I use it as an intense overnight moisturiser. It's smells lovely and the next morning my skin feels super supple and very soft.
This is such a great product. I use it as a face mask once a week and also as and when needed if I have any spots appear. I dab it in just before bed and it soothes the area and reduces redness. It also helps to speed up healing. My teenage son is a great fan too and often uses it when he has a breakout. It seems to be the only thing that helps reduce his spots. I wouldn’t be without a jar now.

I have acne rosacea and have always struggled to find products that don’t irritate or make it worse. This mask is honestly so gentle and calming on my skin. I never wanted to completely lose the rosy glow of my cheeks but definitely to calm it down, this is the perfect compromise. I sometimes use a very small amount just on my cheeks under my overnight replenishing oil for that extra help, it works wonders and without drying or aggravating my skin. I just love it!
Firstly, I love the texture and feel of this mask. I have spot-prone but dehydrated skin and this is perfect for when my skin feels like it needs to heal. I love that it doesn't strip my skin but it also doesn't feel too heavy when I wash it off, my skin feels clean and nourished. The smell is a little funky, but nothing too off putting and I attribute it to actually containing the plant materials claimed so I don't mind too much. I tried this in the Discovery set and would highly recommend giving it a go, it's like no other mask you've used before and I feel radiant after using it
My skin always always feels so good and clean after I’ve used the face mask. My skin literally feels like velvet and has never felt ‘tight’ like some other masks I’ve used. Wouldn’t dream of using anything else now… Husk and Seed always xx
